What You Will Be Doing With Us:

  • Lead and manage a small team of analysts on a critical program
  • Assist with training, mentoring, and professional development of junior analysts
  • Analyze packet data and binary data to extract valuable information
  • Work with large datasets to pinpoint relevant items of interest and provide timely feedback to stakeholders to ensure mission success
  • Interact daily with customers, developers, and other project stakeholders
  • Reverse Engineering and/or Protocol Reverse Engineering
  • Daily development and maintenance of customer programs/scripts in a Linux command-line environment

What We Need From You:

  • US Citizenship and Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph
  • BS degree in Computer Science/Information Sciences or related discipline; will consider experience in lieu of degree
  • 12+ years of professional experience
  • 4+ years of management or technical leadership experience
  • 4+ years of experience working with Wireshark or other network analysis tools
  • Strong, foundational and applied knowledge of the following:
    • Packet Structures
    • Internet Protocol Suite/OSI Model
    • Layer 2 Routing and/or Tunneling Protocols
    • Layer 7 Protocols
    • VoIP-based Protocols
  • 2+ years of experience with developing and modifying tooling in a Bash environment
  • Knowledge of various network configurations and architectures

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with other communications technologies
  • Adept at using regular expressions and other data manipulation/parsing techniques
  • Ability to communicate well with customers, developers, and other mission partners
  • Network-focused certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc)
  • Inquisitive and investigative mindset
