Job description

The Opportunity :

As a key member of the Production team, you will maintain high manufacturing efficiencies while delivering a quality product in a safe and clean environment.

Starting Rate :

$23.50 / hr

Shift Available :

3:00 pm – 11:15 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities :
  1. Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle.
  2. Control and adjust knob speed as required.
  3. Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure safe operation.
  4. Check output to identify any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
  5. Train and oversee new or other employees on low-speed lines.
  6. Understand and follow operating procedures for the line.
  7. Propose improvements to processes or machines as needed.
  8. Operate line in accordance with all company Health & Safety rules.
  9. Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
  10. Maintain activity logs.
Qualifications & Experience :
  1. 1-2 years of experience as a machine operator.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
  3. Ability to operate machines safely with minimal supervision.
  4. Understanding of production procedures.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and understanding of mechanics and technical tasks.
  6. Ability to identify operational or maintenance issues.
  7. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  8. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  9. Physical stamina and strength.
