Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of professional experience in environmental consulting in Alberta.
• Lead biophysical environmental projects with regulatory permitting and site assessments.
• Knowledge of Stage 1 and Stage 2 ESAs and applicable acts (EPEA, Contaminated Sites Regulation).
• Strong business development, client relationships, and Alberta networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for staff under supervision and manage technical outcomes.
• Mentor junior staff and align with Vertex Initiatives and growth plans.
• Develop client relationships and pursue new opportunities in Alberta western Canada.
• Oversee regulatory permitting, ESAs, and environmental reports.
• Collaborate with managers to schedule staff and resources and ensure safety excellence.
