We are looking for a Tech Lead at Motive Studio like you, with a drive for best-in-class game

system development and a passion for technical excellence. Must have passion for technical leadership and looking for an opportunity to be a leader in the development of exciting game projects. You will be challenged to understand the technical and infrastructure changes, diagnosing workflows across projects and code branches. Ideally, you also manage a large codebase and help improve workflows & release processes and partner with studio, franchise, and company level executives to develop technical plans.

Role Requirements :

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Deep game engineering background working on multiple titles and game engines.
  • Experience working across multiple platforms and hardware generations such as PC, console or mobile.
  • Extensive Knowledge of C#, CI solutions, Perforce, and build systems.
  • Strong knowledge of C / C++.
  • Familiarity with all technical aspects of game development including client, server, and backend tech stacks.
  • 5+ years experience leading large engineering teams, preferably across multiple sites and timezones.
  • Ability to mentor and develop SEs and junior Tech Leads.
  • Experience working with shared technology providers to define roadmaps and promote the needs of our studio and titles.
  • Experience managing a large code base with multiple simultaneous development branches.
  • Comfortable partnering with studio, franchise, and company level executives to develop technical plans.
  • Great collaborative skills that support an open working environment.
  • Self-driven, with a strong sense of quality.
