Base Salary: $127,200

About the Role

As a Technical Lead at MistyWest, you’ll drive the technical vision and system design to solve client challenges. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborate closely with clients and project managers, and stay hands-on with key technologies like sensors, optics, and motion control to deliver innovative products across industries.

Accountabilities
  • Understand client goals and define technical solutions that align with their vision
  • Translate product requirements into clear technical tasks and project plans
  • Guide the team through implementation, problem-solving, and delivery
  • Communicate effectively with clients, managing expectations and weekly check-ins
  • Own the product roadmap and ensure alignment across stakeholders
  • Ensure high-quality, technically sound deliverables
  • Lead complex, multi-party projects and collaborate with external partners
  • Identify opportunities for IP reuse and process improvements
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal technical leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex hardware product development projects, including hardware-software integration
  • Proven expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Strong multidisciplinary technical background with hands-on experience in hardware systems (e.g., sensors, embedded systems, optics, motion control)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset
  • Commitment to sustainability and developing technologies that support global environmental and social goals
