The Opportunity

Tundra has an opening for an Inside Technical Sales, Commercial & Industrial Boiler Products role, based in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will be a technical applications professional committed to customer responsiveness. They should have a proven track record in commercial and industrial boiler inside sales and a reputation for building long-term relationships. The role requires maintaining high contact with customers throughout the order cycle.

The Role

  • Inside Sales in a technical role focused on Commercial & Industrial Boiler Products.
  • Communicate clearly and politely over the phone.
  • Provide custom solutions to meet customer needs and maximize each customer interaction.
  • Build knowledge through personal initiative and communicate technical solutions effectively.
  • Initiate conversations with clients confidently.
  • Prepare and present technical sales presentations to new and existing clients.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing to meet customer needs.
  • Adapt and think on your feet to overcome objections and source solutions.
  • Appropriately communicate client orders to relevant departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Candidate

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Inside Sales for Commercial & Industrial Boiler Products.
  • Ability to size, select, and supply equipment supporting Boiler Products and Parts.
  • Experience with Cleaver-Brooks Boilers is an asset.
  • Technical Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution; Power Engineering is an asset.
  • Experience with water treatment/HVAC is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with CAD or drafting programs is an asset.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
