Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Inside Sales in a technical role focused on Commercial & Industrial Boiler Products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory in English.
  • Previous Experience with Cleaver-Brooks Boilers would be an asset.

Tundra has an opening for an Inside Technical Sales, Commercial & Industrial Boiler Products role, based in Edmonton, AB . The successful candidate will be a technical applications professional who reflects our corporate commitment to being responsive to our customers’ unique needs. The successful individual will have a track record of commercial and industrial boiler inside sales experience and a solid reputation for building long term relationships. They thrive in an environment that is client-focused and is skillful at maintaining a high degree of contact with customers through the order cycle.

The Role

  • Inside Sales in a technical role focused on Commercial & Industrial Boiler Products.
  • Can easily communicate clearly and politely over the phone.
  • Is motivated by providing custom solutions to meet customer needs and works eagerly to attain the maximum potential in each and every customer interaction.
  • Builds knowledge base through taking personal initiative and has the aptitude to be able to clearly communicate the technical solution to the customer.
  • Displays an outgoing personality and easily initiates conversations with clients.
  • Is comfortable with preparing and presenting technical sales presentations to new and existing clients.
  • Can liaise with manufacturing to ensure the customer needs are being met.
  • Shows the ability to adapt and can think on their feet while overcoming customer objections or sourcing out the best solution for a technical requirement.
  • Displays an assertive but collaborative approach to sales.
  • Receives client orders for products and accurately communicates orders to the appropriate departments.
  • Communicates with cross functional departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

The Candidate

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Inside Sales in a technical role focused on Commercial & Industrial Boiler Products.
  • Ability to size, select and supply equipment to support all Commercial & Industrial Boiler Products.
  • Ability to size, select and supply equipment to support all Boiler Parts.
  • Previous Experience with Cleaver-Brooks Boilers would be an asset.
  • Technical Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution required.
  • Power Engineering would be considered an asset.
  • Experience with water treatment / HVAC would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory in English.
  • Proficient in working with an ERP System
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Experience in Drafting Programs including CAD would be an asset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
