    • Provide leadership and guidance for BM/DID updates across organizations.
    • Provide technical guidance for R&T activities to implement technical innovations and cost-effective solutions.

    • Propose the implementation of technical innovations based on knowledge of industry trends through Advanced Design and Strategic Technology.
    • Recommend new cost-effective engineering solutions through Knowledge Domains and Programs.
    • Develop a network of contacts throughout Industry.
    • MR&O development support (review and acceptance).
    • Lead and coordinate the A/C level requirement and design solution development through the DR&O, ARD, IDD, RMAS development and production - Includes coordinating with other functions to ensure completeness and cohesiveness.
    • Lead and coordinate continued airworthiness investigations and resolution processes for A/C level issues.
    • Participate in the development of A/C level architecture and functional modeling.
    • Participate in internal audits and provide technical approval of design.
    • Witness selected testing, inspections, and/or audit.
    • Participate in the development of M&P rulemaking with regulatory authorities.
    • Collect and disposition Lessons Learned with M&P KD for community cross programs.
    • Lead and coordinate the A/C level requirement and design solution development for complex problems leveraging transformation and BES.
    • Work to resolve systemic in-service manufacturing issues affecting continued airworthiness and customer acceptance.
    • Lead and coordinate the problem report investigation and resolution process for A/C level issues Customer Facing – problem resolution in support of Delivery and
    • STC’s & support to customer advisory councils.
    • Participate in Commodity Strategy reviews with Sourcing.
    • Identify opportunities for program cost savings.
    How to thrive in this role?
    • You have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering. May have a PHD related directly to a field of expertise.
    • You have over 15 years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering field related to M&P.
    • You have experience on at least 2 or more recent development programs.
    • You are an expert in one or more areas.
    • You have advanced knowledge in materials and processes characteristics and qualifications.
    • You have advanced knowledge in M&P related aircraft level and system level requirements.
    • You have advanced knowledge in M&P related installation and manufacturing requirements.
    • You have advanced leadership and coaching competencies.
    • You are bilingual and have good communication skills in French and English.
