Bombardier, a world-leading aerospace company, is seeking a Technical Expert Senior, Engineering - Defense in Saint-Laurent, QC. You will lead a team responsible for developing structure and system installation conceptual layouts for the complete Airframe on new and existing programs.

You will interface closely with stress, systems, interiors, and support functions such as thermodynamics and mass properties, and you’ll drive bids, feasibility and certifiability within tight timeframes while

What are your contributions to the team?

• Lead a team who will develop structure and system installation conceptual layouts for the complete Airframe on new and existing aircraft programs.
• Closely interface with stress, systems, interiors, and support functions such as thermodynamics, mass properties, etc.
• Working closely with Program Management Office, responsible to provide customization bids and ensure their viability for both cost, schedule and certifiability within restraint response times.
• Generate preliminary design studies and layouts using 3D modeling.
• Provide technical solutions to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
• Generate and execute weight savings ideas.
• Supply input to impact analysis (technical, cost, schedule).
• Support directly other engineering and operations departments.
• Support or lead design and program reviews with partner/suppliers.
• Provide status for project and functional management.
• Manage design changes through all the cycles of the change management process.
