Bombardier seeks a Technical Expert, Engineering - Cabin Electrical Systems Integration to lead configuration design and validation of aircraft cabin electrical systems. You will analyze customer specs, coordinate with suppliers, and document system definitions while ensuring certification compliance and robust test results.

The role requires extensive cabin systems experience, strong English/French communication, and ability to drive design and integration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of cabin systems experience is preferred.
• Experience with supplier management and complex electrical design.
• Proficient in French and English communication.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and testing environments.

Responsabilités

• Review, analyze and understand customer specification documents.
• Define and design the configuration of cabin systems.
• Produce and validate electrical system definition documentation such as the electrical diagram.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Define and perform system functional and robustness tests on the test bench.
• Ensure compliance with aircraft certification rules (FAR, RAC, EU-OPS 1).
• Support production planes to diagnose anomalies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Review, analyze and understand customer specification documents.
• Define and Design the configuration of cabin systems.
• Produce and validate electrical system definition documentation such as the electrical diagram.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Define and perform system functional and robustness tests on the test bench to test interfaces betweensystems and ensure the highest level of product quality under all conditions.
• Ensure and document compliance with aircraft certification rules (FAR, RAC, EU-OPS 1, etc.).
• Support production planes to diagnose anomalies and resolve them quickly.
• Keep an open and innovative mindset to implement improvements in a continuous improvement spirit.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a university degree in electrical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• You have more than 15 years of experience. Cabin systems experience is an asset.
• You have technical business aircraft interiors experience.
• You have experience in dealing with Supplier base.
• You have experience in design or integration of complex electrical systems in this domain.
• You have experience working with electrical schematics, test environment and debugging electrical systems.
• You have experience with AutoCAD or any relevant electrical conceptual software.
• You must be self-motivated, a team player, able to work with a minimum of supervision and have good skills inproject management.
• You have good communication skills in French and English.
• You also demonstrate initiatives, and you are responsible of your actions. You demonstrate a good technicaljudgement.
