What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world’s most famous and well-loved fashion brands? We are looking for a Technical Designer to join our growing team in Montreal.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draw technical sketches of clothing items;
• Sketch the detailed sample garment, implementing any changes required;
• Show all garment details and views (front, back and inside) on sketch to ensure accurate communication of the complete garment construction to vendors;
• Create detailed tech packs in PLM System;
• Maintain and update tech packs and recaps;
• Communicate with design, graphic design and production teams;
• Enter styles in the style library;
• Send / receive / and follow up on parcels to suppliers or customers;
• Provide support to the design and graphic design teams when needed;
• Follow up on various matters from team meetings.

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

• Highly motivated, Creative and Enthusiastic;
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Ability to multitask;
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
• Ability to communicate effectively;
• Knowledge of outerwear is an asset;
• 2 years of experience in a similar role in the garment industry and/or manufacturing industry;
• Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills;
• Skills with PLM is an asset;
• Skills in Graphic Design is an asset.
