Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Technician reporting to the SSV Accessory Designer to help us design / integrate mechanical requirements with vehicle engineering. In this role, you will have a major impact in influencing new accessories on our new and existing platforms.

You’ll have the opportunity to
  • Develop accessories for our current and future side-by-side vehicles.

  • Take projects from initial concepts through to production;

  • Participate in component development and oversee prototype manufacturing;

  • Produce the modeling and technical drawings required for the manufacture of new accessories;

  • Collaborate in the problem-solving process with team designers and engineers;

You’ll thrive in this role if you have the following skills and qualities
  • DEC in mechanical engineering or relevant design experience;

  • A keen sense of mechanics and good 3D visualization skills;

  • Knowledge of design software such as Catia V5 or SolidWorks;

  • Good communication skills in French and English (written and spoken). English is required as the person will have to read technical and regulatory documentation not available in French, as well as communicate with international suppliers.

  • Knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerance standards (GD&T);

  • Curiosity and ingenuity to find creative solutions to problems.
