Life of a Customer Success Manager at Modash

Here are key focus areas for a Customer Success Manager at Modash:

  • Building relationships: Get to know our customers inside and out. From onboarding onward, you'll be their go-to person and in charge of their journey with us. Build and nurture strong, lasting connections, planting seeds for future growth.
  • Set our customers up for success: Dig deep into customer use cases and data to define what success looks like. You’ll act as both a project manager and a strategic partner, someone who understands the customer’s priorities and translates them into actionable plans. By bringing clarity on what they want and need, and by not being afraid to push for solutions, you’ll directly influence how they adopt Modash and even shape their internal roadmap.
  • Partnering across teams: Work closely with Sales to ensure smooth handovers and with Support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. You’ll also collaborate with Product and Engineering, sharing insights, advocating for customer needs, and helping test or validate solutions so that what we build truly solves real customer problems.
  • Learning and educating: Become an expert not just in Modash, but in the technical and industry landscape our customers operate in. You’ll continuously expand your technical toolkit whether that’s APIs, data flows, or whatever else, and translate that knowledge into clear, practical guidance for customers. At the same time, you’ll empower customers by teaching them how to get the most out of our APIs.

  • You’ve worked in B2B SaaS, supported technical customers, and know your way around APIs.
  • You don’t need a coding background, just a technical mindset, great communication skills, and the drive to learn the rest.
  • A fast-paced working environment has proven to be suitable for you. But you never compromise quality over speed.
  • You’ve previously worked at a startup or a scaleup.
  • You are praised for your excellent communication skills no matter the medium you’re interacting with people in. You actively listen, ensure efficiency with the right questions and infect with your positive energy. Your style is building rapport in a non-formal but still professional way.
  • You should have top-notch English skills, both written and spoken.
  • CRM is your friend you visit often. Your new friend might be familiar too - Vitally.
  • Being organized is your natural strength, and being organized helps you stay focused.
  • You share the same mentality as us. We are not people of manuals and rules but rather create processes along the way. Instead of giving stamp answers to our customers, you can figure out your way with your unique voice as a Modashian.
  • While we don’t expect you to be experienced in influencer marketing, any previous marketing experience or knowledge about influencer marketing specifically will surely help and make your life at Modash easier.
