Job description

Pertinent Information : This is a contract position lasting approximately 2-5 months. There is potential for it to become a full-time role, but currently, it is strictly a contract. Full-time hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Location : Windsor, ON.

Wage : $20-24/hr.

Job Description

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing order assistance and support to customers, District Managers, Applications, Inside Sales, and Accounting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Handling direct customer contact via phone and email, including customer order contracts, quotations, and referrals.
  • Expediting sales orders.
  • Communicating relevant order, product, and policy information to internal partners and end users.
  • Maintaining awareness of production and other factors affecting order scheduling and delivery.
  • Processing customer orders, verifying accuracy and availability, and assigning schedule dates.
  • Reviewing and coordinating changes and updates to sales orders.
  • Handling serial number inquiries.
  • Completing or assisting with shipping paperwork and confirmations.
  • Supporting Inside Sales Applications with basic pump and/or package inquiries as a backup.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Customer service or sales experience in a technical field.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Customer-focused with strong internal and external relationship skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning software, preferably JDE.
