The company offers a supportive culture, extensive training, and opportunities for career growth, making it an exciting place for someone passionate about helping others in the medical field.
“Technical Customer Analyst”
About Us. Linax Technologies is a Kelowna, BC, based medical technology company that makes radiotherapy simulators that are used for education, training, and to solve clinical problems.
The Role: A Sales Approach for Cancer Centers
We are looking for a knowledgeable, consultative (Technical Analyst) who understands that people who work at cancer centers do not respond well to aggressive sales tactics. Instead of being "salesy," you’ll take on the role of an advisor and problem-solver, helping medical physicists and other customers working in medical environments to understand how our products can improve their work.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, understanding technical challenges, and guiding decision-makers in a low-pressure, solutions-focused way.
What You’ll Do
● Engage with people who work in cancer care in a way that respects their logical, detail-oriented decision-making process.
● Educate rather than sell, focusing on how our tool can solve specific medical challenges.
● Conduct 1 on 1 product demonstrations and technical discussions that align with the practical needs and priorities of medical physicists, service technicians, radiation therapists, and administrators, who work in cancer centers.
● Organize and present at webinars and tradeshows explaining how our innovative solution is a necessary tool.
● Work with marketing and product teams to refine messaging that aligns with the way our solutions are evaluated by the technical staff working at cancer centers.
● No high-pressure sales tactics—instead, provide valuable insights, answer questions thoroughly, and let the product speak for itself.
● Manage sales pipelines, track conversations, and provide thoughtful follow-ups that medical staff appreciate.
● Ultimately, get contracts signed and close deals meeting the company's revenue objectives.
What We’re Looking For
● 5+ years of sales or technical consulting experience, ideally in B2B or hospital-related industries.
● A deep understanding of how medical people think, work, and make decisions—perhaps you have worked in a hospital or sold medical products before.
● Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a way that’s clear, relevant, and non-salesy.
● A consultative approach—you’re more of a problem-solver than a traditional salesperson.
● Self-motivated, patient, and good at listening rather than just pitching.
● Experience with CRM tools for managing relationships and tracking conversations.
What We Offer
• Competitive base salary + commission structure.
• The opportunity to sell a trusted, high-value product that medical physicists, and other cancer centers professionals will respect.
• A supportive, non-pushy sales culture that values expertise and authenticity over aggressive tactics.
• Extensive training, onboarding, and professional development to deepen your technical sales expertise.
• A dynamic, collaborative work environment with a small team where your opinion is sought out, expected, and will be valued.
• Significant opportunities for career growth.
• Flexible work environment, including remote work and healthy vacation time
If you’re excited about helping people who work in cancer care discover tools that truly make their work easier—without feeling like you’re "selling" to them—we’d love to hear from you!
