Role Overview

We’re looking for aTechnical Content Specialist- a highly adaptable, detail-oriented creative who thrives on variety. In this role, you’ll support our new and existing products with everything from manuals and spec sheets to sales collateral, training videos, and instructional guides. You are part technical writer, part designer, part videographer, and full-time team player. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, customer service, and sales to develop content that drives product understanding, adoption, and long-term customer success.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Documentation

  • Write, edit, and maintain user manuals, service manuals, quick-start guides, spec sheets, and job aids.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to accurately translate technical information into easy-to-understand documentation.
  • Ensure all materials align with brand voice, tone, and formatting standards.

Training Video Production

  • Script, produce, and edit short training or instructional videos for external users.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop educational content that enhances product adoption and serviceability.

Visual & Marketing Content

  • Design and produce sales collateral including product spec sheets, brochures and infographics that support sales and training initiatives.
  • Develop high quality product renderings using KeyShot software.

Asset Maintenance

  • Maintain an organized library of documentation and media assets.
  • Ensure all public and internal content is current, accessible, and version-controlled.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (Marketing) or related applicable field (e.g., Communications, English, or Technical Writing)
  • 2–5 years of experience in technical documentation, product marketing or content development, preferably in a B2B or manufacturing environment
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in a user-friendly way.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Premiere Pro), as well as KeyShot for product renderings
  • Fluency in English is required. Fluency in a French is considered a strong asset.
  • Results-oriented and hard-working self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Graphic Design would be considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
