Job summary

Enterprise Solutions Inc. is seeking an HP NonStop systems administrator to manage and optimize NonStop platforms. You will monitor SQLMX/SQLMP/Enscribe databases and ensure high availability while supporting deployments and DR activities across ATLAS applications and infrastructure environments.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to change control processes. Montreal-based position with opportunities to contribute to reliability and performance initiatives

Qualifications

• Experience administering HP NonStop platform.
• Knowledge of NonStop databases (SQLMX/SQLMP/Enscribe).
• Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery and change management.
• Experience with integration messaging (WebSphere MQ) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on development enhancement troubleshooting and maintenance of ATLAS applications.
• Ensure stability availability and performance of business-critical transaction processing systems operating in a high-availability environment.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents service disruptions and application performance issues within defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with business users operations teams architects and engineering teams to identify and implement application and infrastructure improvements.
• Participate in root cause analysis RCA activities and implement preventive measures to minimize recurring incidents.
• Support application deployments releases and environment upgrades across development testing and production environments.

Qualifications

• HP NonStop Platform Administration Support
• Administer and support HP NonStop systems ensuring high availability and operational resilience.
• Utilize TACL FUP SCF OSS SQLMP SQLMX and Enscribe databases for system administration troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Monitor system health capacity and performance of NonStop environments.
• Support DSMSCM activities including software deployment version control and change management.
• Work with SSHW teams to maintain operating system currency and implement recommended HPE NonStop SPRs and critical patches.
• Participate in infrastructure maintenance system upgrades hardware refreshes and disaster recovery activities.
