Technical Business Analysis Specialist – SimCorp Dimension (SCD), Charles River (CRIMS), CGI’s MPOWER, Markit EDM (IDH)

The Technical Business Analysis Specialist is responsible for application support and business analysis for applications under management (CRIMS, SCD, MPOWER, IDH). This role requires industry knowledge in Portfolio Management, Compliance, Securities Trading, Matching and Settlement, Portfolio Accounting, Custody, and Fund Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support delivered features and functionalities for our Asset Management business line.
  • Configure and support solutions on applications such as CRIMS, SCD, MPOWER, IDH.
  • Understand process flows for equities, fixed income, ETF, money market, and derivatives, including trading conventions and portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of accounting methodologies, regulatory requirements, and back-office processes is a plus.
  • Support multiple asset management applications (e.g., MCH, iFAST, Bloomberg, Market Trading Systems, CANDEAL, FIX).
  • Proficiency in configuring applications to meet business requirements.
  • Understand the application landscape in Asset Management including Portfolio and Order Management, Investment Accounting, and Compliance.
  • Optimize batch jobs for Order Management Systems and identify process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • 7–10+ years of IT experience supporting relevant applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, creative, self-starting, results-oriented.
  • Knowledge of IT practices, systems development, requirements, and testing methodologies.
  • Project management experience and understanding of agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial instruments, valuation, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of Asset Management processes and workflows across asset classes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, business, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, CFA, CPA, FRM are advantageous.
