TECHNICAL ARTIST

This team is seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Artist, with a proven track record in collaborating with peers to develop and maintain high-quality tools, pipelines, systems, and runtime performance. In this position, you will work with the Technical Art team to ensure real-time gameplay maintains high visual quality while remaining performant and functional. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.

Responsibilities :
  • Proactively collaborate with other disciplines to identify workflow pain points and help determine solutions.
  • Optimize run-time performance by working with art teams to reduce content complexity, lighting costs, draw calls, etc., while maintaining visual quality.
  • Use tools like pix to identify content performance concerns and communicate over-budget assets to respective teams.
  • Assist Level Art team in identifying and troubleshooting performance issues in environments.
  • Support Technical Animation team in identifying and troubleshooting animation-related issues.
  • Help Character Art team identify and troubleshoot character-specific problems (morph targets, materials/shaders, etc.).
  • Educate team members, create technical documentation, and communicate with external vendors.
  • Fix bugs reported in the game promptly.
Qualifications :
