Job summary

Government of Nova Scotia's Cyber Security & Digital Solutions (CSDS) is seeking a Technical Architect to lead integration and security services. You will design, implement, and optimize enterprise integrations, APIs, and web services, while guiding middleware platforms and ensuring secure data exchange across departments.

The role requires deep expertise in integration, security architecture, and CI/CD, with collaboration across government teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years related experience.
• Experience with enterprise integration middleware and security is preferred.
• Familiar with Oracle, Java, and Web services technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support application integrations, APIs, and web services.
• Maintain and optimize middleware platforms and integration services.
• Conduct security reviews and implement mitigation measures for integrated solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide technical guidance on architecture.
• Coach and mentor staff to promote knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
