Job summary

NAV CANADA is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to lead integration of cyber security into enterprise architecture and modernization efforts. The role reports to the Manager, Cyber Security Risk & Resilience and ensures security controls and patterns are embedded throughout the architecture lifecycle.

The successful candidate will work with Enterprise Architecture, security operations, and governance teams, leveraging ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, and 27034 standards while enabling secure adoption

Qualifications

• Five+ years in cyber security or enterprise architecture.
• Experience applying security architecture principles in complex environments.
• Participation in architectural review and design assurance processes.
• Experience with threat modelling or risk teams.

Responsibilities

• Unify cyber security technologies and patterns with reference architectures.
• Define and evolve security architecture principles and guardrails.
• Apply ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, and 27034 across the enterprise.
• Assess overlaps and gaps in Cyber Security capabilities.
• Translate risk context into concrete architectural controls.
