A leading investment firm in Toronto is seeking a Technical Analyst to develop and maintain robust portfolio construction tools. Applicants should have over 7 years of software development experience and strong skills in Python, Power BI, and VBA. The role involves creating analytical tools to support investment decisions and working closely with team members and vendors. How You'll Make an Impact
The Portfolio Construction Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of new, robust portfolio construction and analysis tools to support Fidelity Portfolio Solutions’ Portfolio Construction team and Portfolio Strategists. The Developer, and the new tools they create, will contribute to the creation of model portfolios for Fidelity Portfolio Solutions’ prospects and clients in partnership with Fidelity’s Portfolio Construction Managers and Portfolio Strategists. Perform tool administration tasks and develop interactive data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Tableau Desktop and Power BI.
