Position: Technical Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a proactive, collaborative individual to join our MPE division in Saskatoon. You will support our engineering team with document control, proposal coordination, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys diverse projects, and has strong technical editing and communication skills.

Your Contributions

  • Document Control & Editing: Proofread, format, and edit technical documents, ensuring compliance and clarity.
  • Proposal Support: Gather information, format proposals according to company policies and RFP requirements, and coordinate with project staff.
  • Administrative Support & Collaboration: Assist the engineering team with daily tasks, respond to inquiries, and support office operations.
  • Safety Liaison duties.
  • Additional duties: Manage phone lines, guest interactions, mail, supplies, catering, and reception activities.

Your Profile

  • At least 5 years of administrative support experience, with a focus on technical document control or editing preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Publisher is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, with strong organizational skills.
  • Proofreading, editing, and technical writing skills are assets.
  • Experience in proposal development or engineering-related industries is an asset.
  • Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or related field preferred.
