The Content Acquisition (CA) team is an integral part of the Data department. We manage, acquire, and integrate content and data from exchanges, brokers, sell-side, buy-side, and other providers to drive the value of the Bloomberg Terminal and downstream enterprise products. We lead the governance, cost, and quality of data we acquire, collaborating across the company to develop data acquisition strategies in line with our key partners’ agendas.
Within CA, our Client Service team acquires and manages content that becomes available to our global client base. For clients who use Bloomberg daily, having seamless access to OTC pricing data in one place makes their workflows more efficient and helps them make more informed decisions. For content providers, delivering their data via Bloomberg ensures greater market presence and maximises their distribution return on investment.
The Role :
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Account Manager to join our London office. You will support new and existing content partners, handling incoming queries and technical issues while proactively ensuring their OTC pricing content is delivered accurately, timely, and effectively. You’ll build strong, lasting relationships with counterparties, develop deep technical understanding of their data infrastructure, and work closely with Relationship Managers and cross-functional teams to drive our content strategy and account plans.

Serve as the primary technical liaison for content partners, earning their trust with exemplary support.
Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships to streamline onboarding of new data sets.
Analyse and optimise data ingestion workflows by identifying quality issues, proposing improvements, and accelerating time-to-market.
Troubleshoot integration issues by mapping internal and external data infrastructures.
Develop subject-matter expertise in OTC pricing and commodities data, using business intelligence to spot trends, gaps, and opportunities
Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Product, and Engineering to align account strategy with broader company goals
You will need to have :
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant technical or financial field, or equivalent professional experience
2+ years’ experience in the financial industry, technical account management, market data operations, or data analysis
Strong understanding of market data workflows, especially OTC pricing and commodities feeds
Demonstrable ability to manage technical and business relationships with strategic partners and internal stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical, diligent approach to diagnosing issues
Experience using business intelligence or analytics tools to identify trends and inform product enhancements
Effective project-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple client engagements
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
Fluency in English; proficiency in Russian or another regional language is a plus
Keen interest in financial markets, commodities, and OTC instruments
