Responsibilities
  • Grow sales with assigned accounts
  • Balance your time with contractors, end users and engineering consultant accounts
  • Develop relationships and working knowledge of your customers
  • End users - prioritize learning both their mechanical systems and their decision-making process
  • Contractors - know the scope and types of projects they work on. Leverage projects to teach them about product and application
  • Engineers - promote product, support design, and lead take offs on project tenders
  • Build relationships with Preston Phipps manufacturing partners and Preston Phipps Divisions to deepen your technical resources
  • Work with other account managers to develop multi location accounts
  • Prioritize in-person meetings with accounts
Qualifications
  • 5 years in engineering sales capacity working with contractors, consultants and end users
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or industry / sales experience equivalent
  • Experience in steam, hot water, and / or laboratory critical air are favorable
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the sales process and customer service
  • Excellent communication, follow up, organizational and project tracking skills
  • Commitment to driving sales and being active in the territory
  • Disciplined, driven, professional with a positive work ethic
  • Strong technical acumen and problem-solving capacity
  • Driver's licence and clean driving record
