Job summary

BMO Groupe financier is seeking an experienced risk governance professional to provide advisory support to the Technology Group. The role focuses on risk management, regulatory compliance, control effectiveness, metrics, and risk appetite alignment within the BRAC team.

You will drive oversight, strengthen the control environment, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance risk management and decision making across enterprise technology.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of technology or financial industry experience with relevant advanced degree.
• Minimum 5 years in risk and compliance with ability to analyze observations across compliance, operations, risk models and performance.
• Strong data analytics and presentation skills with advanced Excel/PowerPoint use.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences and convey risks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert regulatory compliance support to Technology and Operations in Enterprise Compliance Program.
• Identify regulatory changes and participate in implementation within the Enterprise Compliance Program.
• Improve understanding of Risk requirements under the ORMF and ECP for technology.
• Perform risk assessments in line with ORMF and ECP requirements.
• Maintain PRC framework, tools, and control library for holistic risk view.
• Oversee enterprise-level policies affecting Technology and communicate changes.
• Leverage data for root cause and predictive analysis, delivering risk reports.
