Position

The Tech Lead acts as a technical resource person for his products. He / she ensures that the development of expertise products is consistent with requirements and best practices in the field.

Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with the technical communities, promotes and maintains best practices at the technical level;
  • Works with team members to ensure the use of best practices, norms and standards;
  • Acts as a mentor and coach for his or her products of expertise;
  • Works with team members to move them up the maturity ladder;
  • Works in collaboration with the PO to ensure the team's understanding and ownership of backlog items;
  • Validates the work of team members as required;
  • Supports the communities using its expertise products by answering their technical questions and helping to solve problems;
  • Understands, documents and diagrams work processes;
  • Identifies and solves performance problems;
  • Proposes tests and solutions;
  • Facilitates the integration of new team members;
  • Maintain communities related to its products of expertise;
  • Act as technical advisor to the Directors for its products of expertise.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with the following profile :

  • Interest in being part of a company undergoing a major shift to the cloud (AWS).
  • BAC / AEC in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7 to 10 years' experience
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, in a rigorous and stimulating environment;
  • Bilingualism (advanced French and English).
Technical skills
  • Solid experience in .Net, C#, API management;
  • In-depth expertise : solid command of the technologies used by the team, as well as a global understanding of system architecture.
  • Complex problem solving : able to analyze and solve complex technical problems, anticipate obstacles and propose effective solutions.
  • Technology watch : keep abreast of the latest technological developments and assess their relevance to the team and projects.
  • Knowledge of datawarehouse / ETL tools / TFS Pipeline (asset);
  • Knowledge of Git or similar tools.
