Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Team Member

• Front-Line Employee – You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care.
• The team performs basic tasks related to landscape maintenance at high levels of quality and service delivery. This includes but is not limited to mowing, string trimming, blowing, edging, weeding, pruning and edging.
• You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often.
• You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

How We Measure Success

• Attendance: Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet our Customer Service goals. You need to be here as required by your Supervisory team.
• Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.
• Return Rates: You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.
• Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.
• Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all the above possible.

Job Requirements for Maintenance Team Member

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries is an asset
• If you don’t already have experience, training will be provided

In addition, there are a few additional minimum requirements that are necessary to be considered for this position.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Perform landscape maintenance duties, such as mowing, fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning
• Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers
• Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding
• Address clients\' questions, comments, and concerns
• Prepare daily team performance reports
• Assist with employee recruiting and selection

Job Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted Driver\'s license with a clean record
• One year experience in this or a related field is required
• Previous leadership experience
• Willingness to learn
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature

Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $20-$25 to start and is dependent on your experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional. Start date will be the last week of April 2024, for training.
