You will oversee Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency activities, lead the team, and contribute to development across Private Equity, Real Estate and Securitization funds. The role emphasizes defining priorities, managing workloads, monitoring KPIs, and providing accounting/consolidation guidance while ensuring service continuity and maintaining

Qualifications

  • Experience leading a team in asset servicing or fund administration.
  • Strong accounting and consolidation knowledge with KPI monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage activities and priorities defined by department head.
  • Define operational priorities, establish team objectives and deadlines, and organize workloads accordingly.
  • Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time, and monitor performance via KPIs.
  • Provide technical support and expertise in accounting and consolidation matters.
  • Maintain service continuity by anticipating staffing and resource requirements.
  • Act as escalation point for clients and oversee global client/investor relationships.

Job description

Our client is an asset servicing banking group dedicated to asset managers and institutional investors. The organization is a recognized consolidator in the European asset servicing market and continues to experience sustained business growth. It manages significant assets under custody and administration. Within our client’s Canadian asset servicing operations, the successful candidate will join the Private Equity and Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, which provides a complete range of services to Private Equity, Real Estate and Securitization funds, tailored to each investment strategy. As Team Manager, the successful candidate will ensure the effective operation of Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency activities, lead and supervise the team, and contribute to the continued development of the department.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Activity management Understand and apply the priorities set by the department head
  • Define operational priorities, establish team objectives and deadlines, and organize workloads accordingly
  • Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time, and monitor performance against objectives through KPIs
  • Provide technical support and expertise to the team in accounting and consolidation matters
  • Maintain service continuity by anticipating staffing and resource requirements
  • Ensure workload volumes are appropriately aligned with assigned resources
  • Maintain open communication with management to elevate risks, alerts or blocking points
  • Communicate process and procedure updates and ensure they are properly applied
  • Act as an escalation point for clients and oversee client and investor relationships at a global level
