Ryder System, Inc. in Oakville, Ontario is hiring for a Warehouse Team Leader.

Under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, you will guide a team to meet customer requirements and perform core warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. This full-time hourly role offers $24.00 per hour plus a $2.50 per hour Team Lead Premium, a Friday–Sunday shift from 6:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED preferred.
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with RF scanners advanced required.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.
• Candidate fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of operations.
• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to ensure optimal shift operations.
• Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPI performance.
• Provide orientation and tools to employees to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety methods within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Complete daily reports and propose actions to enhance operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
