Agricorp has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, IT Portfolio to join the Enabling Services department in our Information Technology division.

In this position, you will lead software development and operational activities across various systems to support Ontario's agri-food industry. The Enabling System portfolio includes .Net web applications, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software platforms, and a SharePoint-based customer documents management system.

The Team Leader will collaborate with Application Architects, Designers, and Business Analysts in reviewing user stories, system design, development, and implementation of new capabilities, as well as supporting maintenance and production support.

The Role

Responsibilities

The Team Leader, IT Portfolio – Enabling Services is responsible for delivering projects and system enhancements on time, managing operational activities, and resolving production issues by setting work priorities for the team. You will provide technical leadership and guidance in system design related to .NET web applications and GIS applications. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing leadership to system developers for project delivery and support activities using excellent people management and communication skills
• Ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables through resource support
• Setting development standards, conducting walkthroughs, and reviewing technical specifications
• Participating in annual planning aligned with Agricorp's strategic goals
• Developing performance objectives, supporting team member development, and conducting reviews
• Coaching and mentoring team members, supporting ongoing professional development
• Managing priorities, establishing success metrics, and reporting progress and risks to management
• Ensuring procedures and processes support production and operational activities

Job status: Permanent position

Salary: $79,981 - $94,095

Work Status: Full-time in office, or hybrid work (3 days in office) arrangements available

Location: The successful candidate must reside in Ontario

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computers, math, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in system development life cycle (prefer 5-7 years)
• Minimum 3 years .Net development
• Minimum 2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience with SharePoint configuration (version 2016 or higher)
• Experience with ARCGIS version 10.9.1 or higher and related software
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis and production issue resolution
• Experience in code review, testing, release management; C# development is an asset
• Experience in system integration and data synchronization
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and Jira
