Are you looking for a great entry level leadership opportunity at a fast-growing food manufacturing operation? Growth, development and future further leadership opportunities.

We Offer :

• Competitive starting salary ($45 to 55 k) depending on experience
• Review for increases after 3, 6 and 9 months based on performance
• Opportunity for future increases based on leadership and troubleshooting skills
• Monday – Friday (2 pm to 10 pm), Saturdays and Sundays on O / T rates
• Training for the first 2 weeks will be 11 am to 7 pm
• 2 weeks of vacation per year, with 3 weeks after 5 years

About the opportunity :

We are looking for a Shift Team Leader with immaculate attention to detail to join our team!

Specific Responsibilities for Afternoon Lead Hand :

• Supervision : Oversee and direct the activities of employees during their shift.
• Task Management : Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Scheduling : Organize shift schedules, manage attendance, and address time-off requests.
• Training and Development : Provide on-the-job training, offer feedback, and help new team members adapt to their roles.
• Problem Solving : Address operational issues, resolve conflicts, and manage customer complaints.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Performance Management : Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help improve team performance.
• Communication : Serve as a point of contact for team members and stakeholders during their shift and communicate effectively with other shifts.
