Team Lead, Talent Acquisition, Operations and Programs

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, Operations & Programs, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead to guide and manage our Talent Acquisition Coordination team on a 1-year fixed term contract. This role will be pivotal in streamlining our interview scheduling process, implementing new technologies, and supporting broader talent acquisition initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for process improvement, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience, while working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management:

Inspire and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Coordinators, providing coaching, feedback, and oversight.

Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Ensure an excellent candidate experience for all internal and external candidates by maintaining a smooth, efficient, and professional scheduling process, while reducing candidate drop-off due to scheduling issues.

Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team and the business to resolve scheduling challenges and find ways to improve efficiency.

Identify process improvements in areas that require cross functional collaboration, including background check processing, contingent worker management and pre-boarding set up.

Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to, Onboarding, L&D, IT, and Payroll to guarantee a seamless pre-boarding and onboarding experience for new hires.

Interview Scheduling Optimization:

In partnership with the Manager, Talent Acquisition, Operations & Programs, lead the implementation of a scheduling tool to optimize and automate the interview scheduling process.

Ensure seamless integration of the scheduling tool with existing systems (e.g. Google Calendar, Slack, Workday (Application Tracking System) and Gem).

Support team training and rollout of the tool.

Decrease manual tasks and increase scheduling efficiency.

Monitor and improve key metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate experience.

Process Improvement and Programmatic Support:

Support key Talent Acquisition initiatives, focused on continuously improving the experience for recruiters, candidates, and hiring managers through new solutions and technology, while ensuring legal compliance.

Build, refine and iterate on a variety of programs that enhance the Talent Acquisition function, including but not limited to hiring events, referrals, internal hiring and DIBE initiatives.

Maintain an understanding of best-in-class practices in the talent market as it pertains to technology, programs, metrics, reporting and processes.

What you may bring:

3+ years of recruitment operations/programs experience, with at least 2 years in a talent acquisition operations/programs leadership role.

Experience with implementing and managing scheduling tools or similar technologies.

Demonstrated project management experience in a corporate environment.

Knowledge and experience working with Workday ATS and its reporting functionality.

Solid understanding of talent acquisition processes and best practices.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change quickly.

Strong interpersonal skills and capacity to develop trust.

Comfort with new technologies and tools.

Experience working in the technology industry.

The full salary range* for this role is $93,700 to $117,100 to $140,500 CAD.Please note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally, benefit offerings may differ depending on the employee's location.

* We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
