The Team Lead, Service will oversee the regional client servicing team of Client Service Specialists (CSS) for Commercial Banking Distribution, ensuring the execution of business strategies, plans, and initiatives in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. They are responsible for maintaining high-quality client data, service, and support across all commercial portfolios.

This role involves leading end-to-end client-centric service for new and existing clients, liaising with internal and external partners to ensure quality in financial reporting, funding, onboarding, and resolving escalated client issues. The position focuses on servicing all segments in Commercial Banking Distribution and collaborates with RBBO – BSC leaders for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and foster a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships.
• Coach and guide the team to deliver exceptional service, ensuring a seamless client experience.
• Monitor service performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with risk appetite, policies, and operational controls.
• Build a high-performance, inclusive team environment, managing succession and development plans.
• Travel periodically within the region to Commercial Offices.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services (Commercial/Small Business) or related fields.
• At least 3 years of managerial or leadership experience.
• Strong sales, credit management, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Commercial Banking objectives, policies, and products.
• Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of Canada’s financial marketplace and key industries.
