Job Description

As a Team Lead, you’ll perform all the essential functions of an Assignment Coordinator while also taking on leadership duties to ensure our overnight team delivers exceptional service and operational excellence. You will be supporting staff and maintaining seamless communication between clients, caregivers, and the broader ParaMed team. This is an overnight position & will require availability from Monday to Friday with every other weekend from 10pm to 6am.

What you’ll do :

  • Monitor overnight team performance and provide real-time support
    Ensure calls are answered promptly and efficiently during overnight hours

  • Verify accurate and complete documentation of call logs and interactions

  • Promote adherence to all operational and care processes

  • Assign appropriate staff to patients based on a variety of factors including times suggested by patients , staff availability and relevant skill sets

  • Build a care schedule for patients

  • Enter and update employee and patient data within computerized system

  • Respond professionally and courteously to calls and electronic communication from funders, staff, patients , and families

  • Document and appropriately report all staff and patient interactions

What you bring :

  • Two years administrative or office experience is an asset

  • S cheduling experience is an asset

  • Healthcare background is strongly desired

  • Proven leadership abilities with a calm, solutions-focused approach, including experience guiding teams or taking initiative in high-pressure situations

  • Strong computer skills

  • Superior Customer service skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written

  • Compassion and empathy when interacting with patients and their families
