JOB DESCRIPTION

The Team Lead, Procurement manages a team of Associate and Intermediate-level procurement professionals and is responsible for progressing lifecycle procurement activities for systems, equipment, and materials for the River-Class Destroyer (RCD) program. The Team Lead takes ownership of complex or critical packages, or those requiring broader team support or significant strategy development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure procurement practices and outputs are conformant, consistent, and high-quality throughout the lifecycle.
  2. Coordinate and manage internal stakeholders.
  3. Manage supplier relationships.
  4. Ensure optimal organizational design to meet performance targets, and promote employee engagement, skill development, and team competency development.
  5. Prepare organizational reports (structured and ad hoc).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of Supply Chain Management experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment.
  • Previous leadership experience is an asset.
