Job summary

Reitmans (Canada) Limited is seeking a Team Lead in Prince Albert to collaborate with the management team and drive a customer-focused store environment. You will lead and inspire the team, ensuring smooth daily operations, strong merchandising, and achievement of sales goals on the sales floor.

The role requires 6+ months of leadership experience, strong communication, and a passion for fashion. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential, with a supportive rewards program

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of leadership or supervisory experience in retail or customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to motivate, support, and guide a team toward shared goals.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience.
  • Knowledge of store operations, including scheduling, cash management, merchandising, and inventory flow.
  • Passion for fashion with a good sense of style and knowledge of fashion trends.
  • Flexible availability; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient in POS, ERP, ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg).
  • High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

  • Support store performance by contributing to the achievement of sales goals and ensuring alignment with company objectives and KPIs.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations, including compliance with policies and procedures, loss prevention, opening and closing routines, cash management, report generation, and scheduling support.
  • Maintain high standards of merchandising and visual presentation to ensure a clean, consistent, and welcoming environment.
  • Coach and develop the team through ongoing training and constructive feedback to strengthen skills and performance.
  • Promote effective communication with the Store Manager to ensure alignment and timely execution of priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure aligned priorities and swift execution of action plans.
  • Model a customer-first mindset by leading on the sales floor and resolving customer concerns.

Job Description

As aTeam Lead, you will collaborate with the management team to keep operations running smoothly and inspire the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. With your leadership, sense of style, and hands-on approach, you will help create a vibrant, organized, and customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop the teamthrough ongoing training and constructive feedback to strengthen skills, confidence, and overall performance.

  • Flexible availability; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder reaching up to 3 m (10 feet).
  • High school diploma required.
