Job summary

Reitmans (Canada) Limited is seeking a Team Lead in Montreal to collaborate with the management team and supervise daily store operations. You will lead by example on the sales floor, coach staff, and ensure an exceptional customer experience through strong merchandising and service standards.

The role emphasizes team leadership, communication, and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced retail environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of leadership or supervisory experience in a retail or customer-focused environment.
• Ability to motivate, support, and guide a team toward shared goals.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of store operations, including scheduling, cash management, merchandising, and inventory flow.
• Passion for fashion: good sense of style and solid knowledge of fashion trends.
• Proficient in POS, ERP, ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible availability; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder reaching up to 3 m (10 feet).
• High school diploma required.

Job Description

As aTeam Lead, you will collaborate with the management team to keep operations running smoothly and inspire the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. With your leadership, sense of style, and hands-on approach, you will help create a vibrant, organized, and customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
