Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to work independently across multiple retail locations, approximately 40 hours per week.

Manager will oversee area from Scarborough / Toronto

Locations include : STOUFFVILLE / SCARBOROUGH / RICHMOND HILL / TORONTO / NORTH PARK / THORNHILL

About You

You are an experienced professional with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently with an eye for detail. Well-organized, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and skilled in building business relationships. Experience in food stores is an advantage. A smartphone and internet access are required.

Scope of Responsibilities

Ensure excellent in-store conditions by :

  • Maintaining the Bulk Section
  • Ordering and managing stock levels for quick-moving SKUs
  • Full service and maintenance of flowers and seasonal displays
  • Managing audits and team coordination across stores
  • Building relationships with store staff and managing contractors
  • Ensuring store merchandising aligns with client expectations
  • Providing store coverage when needed
  • Following up on reports and utilizing sales data for SKU optimization
  • Visiting 1-2 stores daily to complete tasks

Core Competencies

Hard Skills :

  • Sales experience, particularly in consumer-packaged goods
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and basic computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proactive, creative, and supportive leadership skills
  • Customer-focused with business acumen

Soft Skills :

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly
  • Proven sales and territory management skills

Experience :

  • 2-3 years in sales, merchandising, or CPG roles
  • Ability to interpret sales reports and business data
  • Positive, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Reliable vehicle and smartphone required
