Merchandising Specialist - Super rep

About the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to work independently across multiple retail locations, averaging 40 hours per week.

Manager will oversee area from Kitchener to Georgetown

Locations include: MILTON / KITCHENER / WATERLOO / FERGUS / GUELPH / GEORGETOWN / CAMBRIDGE

About You

You are an experienced professional with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Well-organized, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and capable of building strong business relationships. Experience in food retail is an advantage. You must have a smartphone and internet access.

Scope of Responsibilities

Ensure excellent in-store conditions by:

  • Maintaining clean bulk sections
  • Accurately ordering products to keep sections full and backstock sufficient
  • Providing full service for bulk sections, flowers, and seasonal audits

Build relationships with in-store staff and manage a team of independent contractors to:

  • Ensure stores are merchandised as per client expectations
  • Engage with store management for displays
  • Cover store vacancies when needed
  • Follow up on exception reports
  • Use sales data to optimize SKU selection
  • Visit 1-2 stores daily to complete tasks

Core Competencies

Hard Skills:

  • 2-3 years sales and merchandising experience, preferably in CPG
  • Computer literacy (Outlook, Word)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Positive attitude, creativity, and support skills

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Sales and territory management skills
