We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and independent Merchandising Specialist to support multiple retail locations, working approximately 40 hours per week.

Manager will oversee areas from Kitchener to Georgetown
Locations include: Milton, Kitchener, Waterloo, Fergus, Guelph, Georgetown, Cambridge

About You

You are an experienced professional with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently with keen attention to detail. Well-organized, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and skilled in building business relationships. Experience in food retail is an advantage. A smartphone and internet access are required.

Scope of Responsibilities

Ensure optimal in-store conditions by:

• Maintaining a clean bulk section
• Accurately ordering products to keep shelves stocked and managing backroom inventory
• Full service for:
• Bulk sections and gondolas
• Flowers (potted plants and tropicals)
• Seasonal audits of products like Turbo Tax across various banners

Build relationships with store staff to facilitate success and sales growth by:

• Managing a team of independent contractors
• Ensuring shelves are full, priced, and clean according to client standards
• Engaging with management for promotional displays
• Providing coverage during store vacancies when necessary
• Following up on exception reports
• Using sales data to optimize SKU placement
• Visiting 1-2 stores daily to complete tasks

• Sales experience, particularly in consumer-packaged goods
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word
• Valid driver’s license
• Drive, creativity, and leadership in coaching/support roles
