The Team Lead, Execution contributes to the success of Global Transaction Banking by ensuring the execution and delivery of specific goals, plans, and initiatives in support of business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities comply with regulations, policies, and procedures.

Leads and oversees a team of Senior Client Associates (SCA), responsible for maintaining portfolio compliance and monitoring negative trends. The team possesses strong knowledge of Global Transaction Banking and Deposit products/services. The incumbent collaborates with Senior Managers, GTB, to provide proper support and services to clients.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Lead and foster a client-centric culture, deepening client relationships and leveraging broader Bank resources.
  • Manage the GTB Senior Client Associates based on regional coverage, guiding them to enhance business development, follow up on post-sales activities, and review pricing strategies.
  • Identify prospects and growth opportunities utilizing payment, cash management, and deposit services.
  • Ensure activities are compliant, train team members on best practices, and communicate service and product updates.
  • Oversee the preparation of client proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and proper guidance on recommendations, pricing, and value propositions.
  • Consider the Bank’s risk appetite in daily activities and decisions.
  • Build a high-performance team environment, attract, develop, and motivate team members, foster inclusivity, and manage succession planning.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • Post-secondary education (Business degree preferred)
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Financial Services or related industry
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience
  • Strong sales, credit management, relationship-building, and leadership skills
  • Understanding of Commercial Banking objectives and strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of Bank’s compliance requirements and products/services
