The Role

• Manage a team of Underwriting Assistants
• Process new, renewal, and endorsements in a timely manner
• Provide administrative support to managers as required
• Provide administrative support to our accounting department as required
• Contribute to building strong broker relationships by providing excellent customer service
• Work effectively towards the goals of the team
• Perform other general duties as required
• Hybrid work model: 2 days in Vancouver office

Job Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work within a fast-paced environment
• Professional and personable demeanor
• Demonstrates an interest in learning and building a career in the Insurance Industry
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Education and Experience

• Post-secondary education is an asset but not required
• CIP designation is an asset or willingness to enroll in classes
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Commercial Lines experience
