Team Lead, Client Service Centre, Personal Insurance

What We’re Looking For

Reporting to the Manager of Personal Lines, the Team Lead will foster a strong sales and service culture, develop client relationships, understand their needs, and identify cross-selling opportunities. You will also be involved in training and developing team members to ensure high standards of product, process, and customer service.

Location & Hours

Our Burnaby Still Creek office is centrally located near Brentwood Town Centre, accessible via Gilmore skytrain station. The role requires availability Monday to Saturday, with hours from 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM (Monday-Thursday), 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (Friday), and 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (Saturday).

  • Level 2 General Insurance License
  • At least 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Strong insurance product knowledge
  • Self-motivated with good judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Preferred Assets

  • Industry designations (CAIB, CIP, CRM)
  • Experience with EPIC, Applied Rating, and carrier portals
  • Auto insurance knowledge

Typical Day

  • Support team with client calls and inquiries
  • Conduct quality reviews and provide performance feedback
  • Train and support team members daily
  • Identify process improvements
  • Assist with scheduling and workload monitoring
  • Support team performance to meet KPIs
