Pay Rate: $25/hour + $5/hour bonus upon successful completion of the program

Location: Pacific Mall, Bramalea City Centre and Scarborough Town Centre (GTA)

Duration: April 25th – May 11th 2025

About the Role:

Match Retail is seeking a reliable and proactive Team Lead to oversee the on-site execution of a mall-based activation for the YMCA Family and Early Years Wellness Program (FEWP). This individual will be responsible for managing Brand Ambassadors, ensuring flawless logistical execution, and supporting the program’s success through strong leadership and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise 2 Brand Ambassadors during mall activations.
• Execute event setup, activation, and tear-down (strike) – before/after mall hours.
• Transport event materials between mall locations (must have access to a vehicle).
• Act as the point of contact for day-of coordination and problem-solving.
• Attend the kickoff meeting at Match Retail’s Head Office to collect all required assets.
• Ensure on-site team compliance with brand standards and event goals.
• Complete weekly reporting including event recaps, distribution data, and registrations.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in event marketing or promotional leadership roles.
• Strong organizational and people management skills.
• Comfortable working independently and solving challenges on-site.
• Must own or have access to a reliable vehicle for transporting materials.
• Able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Comfortable using technology, including iPads for registrations.
• Available for remote training (up to 1 hour) on the YMCA FEWP Program.
