As a Team Lead, VDC, working in the Innovation team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a key role in inventing the future of design and construction by supporting project teams with state-of-the-art VDC tools and methods. Supporting large-scale projects—from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—you will explore and support project growth and execution through BIM (Building Information Modelling) and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction).

What You Will Do

  • Manage and lead a team of VDC coordinators.
  • Coordinate BIM / VDC services across multiple projects.
  • Develop and set expectations, providing mentorship and coaching.
  • Write and review BIM management and execution plans per ISO 19650.
  • Implement and oversee BIM processes, ensuring continuous development.
  • Promote learning and innovation in construction.
  • Organize tasks, ensure quality and deadlines, and report to the Innovation Manager.

This role could be for you if you have

  • An educational background in construction engineering, civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in work coordination, BIM project management, and resource management in construction.
  • Skills in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revizto, BIMTrack, ESRI ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of a common data environment (CDE), IFC, and openBIM formats.
  • Good technical knowledge of building mechanics and construction.
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and oral.
