As a Team Assistant, Telehomecare (Status: Permanent Full-Time, Effective:Immediately; Location: any office within the North East area), you will providesupport for all non-clinical duties related to the Telehomecare Program, RapidResponse Nursing Program and other Clinical Programs.

What will you do?

· Provide administrative support services to theNurses for the Telehomecare Program, Rapid Response Nursing Program and otherClinical Programs

· Receive and manage calls for the Programs

· Process incoming faxes and referrals

· Prepare and maintain patient charts

· Provide first line technical support topatients

· Provide back-up to other clinical programs, asrequired

What must youhave?

  • Post-secondaryeducation in an office administration program and/or equivalentpost-secondary training and experience;
  • Relevantexperience providing clerical support services in a medical officeenvironment;
  • Demonstratedexperience providing technical support services and troubleshooting issueswith tablets and other hardware;
  • Excellenttelephone and customer service skills are required when interacting with OntarioHealth atHome staff, patients, and service providers;
  • Demonstratedability to work independently, problem solve and manage multiplepriorities of patients and nurses in the program;
  • Goodunderstanding of general office administrative processes and procedures;
  • Abilityto maintain a high level of accuracy when inputting data and generatingreports for management;
  • Advancedkeyboarding skills and proven proficiency with a variety of databaseprograms;
  • Abilityto use scheduling software (e.g. Outlook calendar) and operate copymachines, fax machines, and other office equipment;
  • Experiencehandling sensitive and confidential information in a discreet andprofessional manner when discussing issues with other Ontario HealthatHome staff or patients;
  • Demonstratedhigh level of accuracy in performance of all duties;
  • Advancedoral and written proficiency in English and French is essential.
  • We have amandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy. As a condition of employment, allemployees are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination statusprior to start date.
