As a Team Assistant (Temporary, Part-Time; Location:Any Ontario Health atHome within the Northeast), you will provide supportfor the assigned team in their daily activities to ensure that patients receiveprompt, effective customer service.

What will you do?
· Provide administrative support services to Care Coordinators
· Process new referrals, and orders for services, supplies andequipment
· Process and assist in managing confidential patient records
· Enter, update and maintain a high volume of patient data in theelectronic database
· Answer a high volume of telephone inquiries from patients,families and service providers, and refer callers as appropriate
· Provide back-up support to other positions, as required
What must youhave?
· A Grade12 diploma (minimum)
· 2+years’related office experience
· Accuratekeyboarding/data-entry skills
· Proficientwith database software, MS Word, Excel, and other applications in a Windowsenvironment
· Excellentorganizational skills and ability to work independently with minimalsupervision
· Advancedmulti-tasking skills, with the ability to meet performance and service goals
· Exceptionalinterpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team and interacttactfully and sensitively with patients from wide-ranging cultural, ethnic andsocio-economic backgrounds
· Excellentoral and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
What would give you the edge?
· A college diploma in the health or social servicesfield, or business/office administration
· Familiarity with medical terminology, and officeadministrative procedures/concepts
· Knowledge of services provided by Ontario HealthatHome
· Abilityto speak French or another second language
