The College of the Rockies invites applications for a Teaching and Learning Specialist (Indigenization & EDI). This role provides expertise in teaching and learning, instructional design, curriculum development, and faculty professional learning to advance the college's Indigenization Strategy.

Teaching and Learning Specialist (Indigenization & EDI)

Regular, Full-time

Duties:

The Teaching and Learning Specialist (Indigenization & EDI) provides expertise in teaching and learning, instructional design, curriculum development, and faculty professional learning through an Indigenization, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility lens. This non-instructional faculty position collaborates with faculty, academic leaders, the Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL), and other College partners to advance Forward Together: The College of the Rockies Indigenization Strategy, Building Belonging: Strategic Priorities and Pathways Forward, and the College's Accessibility Plan.

The position strengthens faculty capacity and advances teaching and learning by integrating Indigenization, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility across curriculum, pedagogy, and learning environments to support student success, belonging, and equitable learning experiences.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Indigenous Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Adult Education, Equity Studies, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education, community-based knowledge, and experience will be considered.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in curriculum development, faculty support, instructional design, or educational development within post-secondary or community-based learning environments.
• Class 5 Driver's License

Salary

As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for faculty employees is in a range from $70,437 - $112,872 per year.
