Position Details

Course: RECL 2P25 Child and Youth Work In Community Recreation

Compensation:

  • Undergraduate rate (no honors degree or 3-year pass degree): $22.07/hour (effective September 1, 2024)
  • Graduate rate (honors or 3-year pass degree): $34.73/hour (effective September 1, 2024)
  • Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate.
Responsibilities

The duties align with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement, including scheduled contact time, seminar preparation, student consultations, grading, exam proctoring, attendance at lectures, office hours, and course administration.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 80% in the course
  • Third- or fourth-year student enrolled in or completed a Recreation and Leisure Studies degree or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines
